Issues with submissions containing non-English characters

Users of iThenticate may experience issues with their reports not generating and showing as pending.

This appears to be affecting submissions, which match to a submission in our database, that contains non-English characters within the title or author name.

Turnitin believe they have located the root cause of this issue and are working hard to resolve this as their top priority.

Turnitin is still working on a fix for this issue, which we know is impacting a lot of you. Once again we apologise for this inconvenience and assure you that together with Turnitin this is being addressed as a matter of urgency.

Turnitin have now fixed the issue.

Affected submissions may still be showing as pending while Turnitin run a script to reprocess all of these submissions. This may take a little time to complete, however users can resubmit their papers, which will generate a report without delay.
