Sub- & Superscript in metadata

I read about how we should use face markup but do I enter .xml tags in the Web Deposit Form fields or should I go back into the propagated data to manually enter & tags? These are applied science papers, so super and subscript appear frequently in both titles and abstracts.

Hello @callab,

Thank you for your post and sorry for the delay in reply.

I am not sure if it will be accepted if you add the markup into the Web Deposit Form, I have not tested this so it might be a good time to check if you can? The XML file will be created by the form and so if the tags have been entered in the values then the system should pick those up as it would a normal XML file.

I would try adding the markup as per the documentation here: Face markup - Crossref

Do let me know if you have any issues with by replying with the submission ID.

Best regards,
Paul
